Animal Chiropractic is as old as Chiropractic, but we can thank Sharon Willoughby DVM, DC for it's presence today. Dr. Willoughby wrote the first instruction manuals in the early 1990s to educate both DVMs and DCs in Animal Chiropractic.
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that evaluates structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing combined with other standard methods of diagnosis. Treatments may involve specific joint manipulation or mobilization, various myofascial therapies, cranial techniques, meridian and acupuncture skills, clinical nutrition, dietary management, counseling skills, evaluating environmental irritants and various reflex procedures.
A science of applied neurophysiologic diagnosis based on the theory that health and disease are life processes related to the function of the nervous system: irritation of the nervous system by mechanical, chemical, or psychic factors is the cause of disease; restoration and maintenance of health depend on normal function of the nervous system. diagnosis is the identification of these noxious irritants and treatment is their removal by the most conservative method.

Cosmetic Acupuncture for Facial Rejuvenation
Cosmetic Acupuncture has been performed for over a thousand years in China, as early as the Sung Dynasty (960 A.D. to 1270 A.D.). Cosmetic acupuncture was performed on the emperors' and the emperor's concubines. The Chinese have known that beauty radiates from the inside out. The results are obvious and not as dramatic as surgical procedures but for the amount of time and money invested, it is a great alternative. Normally, you can expect to look between five to ten years younger. Some benefits are that occasional follow-up visits can prolong the results that have been achieved and slow down the aging process dramatically. The superficial insertion of acupuncture needles in the face will increase local circulation of blood and energy to the face and stimulates collagen productions which will fill out the lines and tighten the skin.
Manual biofeedback is a relatively simple and effective neuromuscular therapy that encompasses a variety of therapies including traditional EMG‐type biofeedback, various forms of physical therapy, manual muscle testing‐based approaches and other hands‐on remedies. When addressing primary imbalances, it can reduce the need for many other treatments. The full scope of manual biofeedback includes physical assessment of disability and treatment of a wide range of neuromuscular dysfunction caused by brain, spinal cord or local injury, and emphasizes active patient participation.
Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET)
NET is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is a tool that can help improve many behavioral and physical conditions.
Nutrition Response Testing (NRT)
NRT is a non-invasive system of analyzing the body in order to determine the underlying causes of ill health. When these are corrected through safe, natural, nutritional means, the body can repair itself in order to attain and maintain more optimum health.
Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient's body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
Respiratory biofeedback has a stronger focus on the brain, helping to increase production of alpha waves much like EEG‐type biofeedback or neurofeedback. This procedure can also help improve the breathing mechanism, increase oxygenation to the brain and, through these changes, improve muscle function throughout the body.
Spinal Adjusting decreases cortisol levels, decreases inflammatory cytokines, increases endorphin levels, and increases immunomodulation. Records of spinal adjusting date back over 4500 years to Imhotep who was known as the “God of Medicine,” “Father of Medicine,” and “Prince of Peace” (2980 B.C.). He was the chief architect of the magnificent Step Pyramid of Djoser in Saqqara. His approach focused on mind, body, magic, and religion.
Total Body Modification (TBM)
TBM is a comprehensive system of alternative healing. TBM is an integrative approach to restoring the body’s self-regulation and, thereby, healing capacity by working through the autonomic nervous system. TBM rapidly restores function-specific and global energetic harmony to the human body resulting in seemingly miraculous, yet predictable, changes in a patients’ state of health.
